The term special gearbox stands for all gearboxes that do not correspond to a standard, i.e. cannot be selected from the catalog. As a rule, standard gearboxes will not be able to meet the required demands in terms of dimensions, torques, speeds, service life, installation positions, design and number of input and output shafts, as these are always only a compromise. You can only find the right “cover” for your “pot” from a “cover manufacturer”. Special gearboxes are developed, designed, manufactured and assembled according to the customer’s specific requirements.
